Leading the Way: Aligning Strategies to Achieve Ambitious Goals

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

While establishing ambitious student learning goals is a vital part of the improvement process, it's certainly not the only piece. Maintaining focus, monitoring progress and ensuring support/alignment of resources are also important. But, how can the governance team help reach the goals and model meaningful leadership while juggling all these different moving pieces of the puzzle? Join board/superintendent leadership from Sibley-Ocheyedan Schools and IASB board development staff and hear insights and lessons learned from their work over the past two years to strategically align student learning goals with their governance work. Attendees will discuss insights and consider the impact for leadership in their own districts.
