Jesup Schools embraced the employee bargaining changes made in Chapter 20. Rather than transfer sole decision-making power to the administration and school board, the district formed eight different committee groups, engaging about 75 percent of the teaching staff in employment issues formerly handled through the negotiation process. Hear how teachers and administrators navigated the challenges of learning the new law, and how they've successfully maintained the committee structure.
